The new K2 Blur XT has big shoes to fill and surprises right from the start: it positions itself as a precise, stable piste ski, but compared to its predecessor, the Disruption 82 Ti, it delivers a much more accessible and playful feel. With 83 mm under the binding, it is at the wider end of the frontside category, offering increased versatility for variable slope conditions.
Thanks to the Titanal H-Beam construction, which does not quite reach the tip and tail, the Blur XT delivers excellent edge stability and damping at medium to high speeds. The ski was particularly impressive in turns: the relatively tight radius of 14.9 meters (at 177 cm), combined with the pronounced camber underfoot, ensures quick and intuitive turn initiation. The ski carves precisely and powerfully through the turn, reminiscent of the best days of the K2 84 Ti – a carving experience that is fun and requires little effort.
